  Description: urban expression in the streets of Paris...
  Comments: The person behind the project sees those old television test patterns as universal symbols, which are, if you're over 30-years-old, probably "engraved in your spirit." The multicoloured image, also said to symbolize Orwell's Big Brother, "penetrated all the hearths, without being invited." No doubt, television has had powerful impact on our lives, and that subliminal image, an emblem of earlier days in the media, lives on in this artist's posters, stickers, and mosaics, found on the streets of Paris and showcased on the site. There's also a section of more general street art in and around the community – please stand by...

  Comments: The latest project, Dubai Labour Issues, in addition to a number of phenomenal photographs, includes in-depth background information on the country's "massively exploited million man work-force." An eye-opener for sure and there's dozens of other projects to explore here. And Shirton's Sport, Travel, and Portraits sections are extraordinary too.

  Comments: "Art was once the domain of the privileged, wealthy and famous, but no more. In the 21st century art is being fundamentally realigned for anyone and everyone." The site bills itself as an homage to Andy Warhol, who once said, "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." The site derives it content from user-submitted mobile video clips and upon entering the site, 15 random clips from the database are displayed for 15 seconds each before being replaced by new clips.   Comments: I'm here to say "I [definitely don't] hate jamie campbell's photography." In fact, even though I'm not crazy about the site's design, the creative content is simply too good to pass up. Besides some excellent portraits among Jamie's human beings and the more staged untitled fabrication series, there's a work in progress titled beasts of burden I find most amusing. Jamie recently earned a BFA and if this collection of creative, sometimes humorous works are any indication, he's gonna be quite a photographer... when "he grows up," that is. And here's a little bonus found on his bio page...;~))
